What does must ministries do

Groups come in and prepare and serve the food. My small group has serves on numerous occasions and when a volunteer group isn't scheduled, MUST employees come up with a meal anyway Each time my group has served, 50 to 80 people eat; men, women and children.

Some are timid when they come into the line. We offer a smile and encouragement and sometime a laugh. But many of these people are not happy and they are likely at their hardest time ever. In my experience, all have been respectful Many make a special effort to express their appreciation for us being there.

Since the groups who volunteer pay for the food they provide, I guess about NONE of the money it costs to provide those meals shows up in monetary measures of what the ministry does. Must does have a really good -industrial type kitchen for groups to prepare in.

It is August I am not originally from Georgia but Must is not what it used to be I am going to assume. Before you come here just prepare yourself for discouragement, no help, and drama everywhere. Maybe if the people who comes here should record and contact the CEO about what goes on here now!

It is not a place for children and the vulgar language staff uses is ridiculous. They are putting children and families back on the street which should be unacceptable by any means.

Just come see how its running now the people in charge have no compassion for people just come to work. The community service workers are treated awful by the Must Ministries employees. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in my life. I have always enjoyed giving my time back to the community but after the numerous insults and unkind comments, I have no desire to give my time to this organization.

The Must Ministries have a great opportunity to help teach people about the value of giving back to the community. Unfortunately, this organization does everything it can to make people never want to give back to the community. Also, the people that are staying there homeless etc.. It is obvious that the employees don't want to be there and are taking it out on anyone they come across.

This organization gives out freebies but is poorly run by angry, bitter employees. Would never give them money or food. Rating: 0. For 7 yrs I have volunteered at MUST Cherokee and am so impressed with the work of feeding, clothing the needy as well as many other projects. At first glance, it appeared to be a typical suburban mom taking her kids through the MUST Ministries celebrated the upcoming construction of a new campus expected to open in early that will increase shelter capacity and host a range of other services.

They should be prepared by an independent accountant with oversight from an audit committee. It is not necessary that the audit committee be a separate committee. Often at smaller charities, it falls within the responsibilities of the finance committee or the executive committee.

The committee provides an important oversight layer between the management of the organization, which is responsible for the financial information reported, and the independent accountant, who reviews the financials and issues an opinion based on its findings. We check the charity's Form reporting to see if it meets this criteria. Full Credit: The charity's audited financials were prepared by an independent accountant with an audit oversight committee. Donors have expressed extreme concern about the use of their personal information by charities and the desire to have this information kept confidential.

The exchanging and sale of lists for telemarketing and the mass distribution of "junk mail," among other things, can be minimized if the charity assures the privacy of its donors. Privacy policies are assigned to one of the following categories:. Yes: This charity has a written donor privacy policy published on its website, which states unambiguously that 1 it will not share or sell a donor's personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations or 2 it will only share or sell personal information once the donor has given the charity specific permission to do so.

The privacy policy must be specific to donor information. A general website policy which references "visitor" or "user" personal information will not suffice.

A policy that refers to donor information collected on the website is also not sufficient as the policy must be comprehensive and applicable to both online and offline donors. The existence of a privacy policy of any type does not prohibit the charity itself from contacting the donor for informational, educational, or solicitation purposes.
